From Industrial Roots

to Architectural Icon

Our story begins in 1936, when this very building was constructed as a light industrial warehouse, part of a significant wave of development that shaped SoMa during the 1930s. Its design proudly reflects the era's distinctive Art Deco and Art Moderne influences, characterized by streamlined facades, bold geometric details, and the iconic steel-sash windows that define its 1930s industrial aesthetic. As a recognized contributor to the architectural character of the Western SoMa Light Industrial Historic District, our building stands as a testament to a bygone era, beautifully preserved.
